Maybe you have health issues or you simply feel tense as you breath.
In any case, taking just one slight longer breath, can make a big difference in your day.
In my experience as a respiratory therapist,
it's rarely enough to just ask someone to breath deeper.
You often need to let the body relax first or to ground yourself.
Meeting the fears and emotions that come with breathing difficulties will also be an important resource for the air to flow again.
And even though some deep medical issues can't just be magically fixed, relaxation and connecting to the body and its language, will ease some of the struggle one face when breathing is a concern.
